Ear To The Ground

Now entering its 19th year, Ear to the Ground is one of the longest running programmes on RTE Television. Covering farming, food, rural affairs and everything in between – it tells the story of Irish agriculture through good times and bad. And has entertained and informed millions of viewers along the way – even ones who’ve never set foot on a farm.

I joined the team in 2003 and in 2006 won the National Broadcast Category of the Guild of Agricultural Journalism Awards for a report on Carers.
